I was scrolling either TikTok or IG and came across the song “Get You The Moon” by Kina feat. Snow. Instant vibe. I play it on repeat.

Let’s talk about being thankful. Let’s talk about being blessed. The best thing I got for Christmas this year, hands down, was my family back. There are no words to describe the way that I feel in this moment. There is no way to articulate it.

My beautiful daughter. My journey back to myself has undoubtedly brought me to you. I know you may feel that before I could not see you. You have always been seen. I will always see you. You are my reflection as I am yours and we are that of our mothers’ and mothers’ mothers before us.

Wanton soup.

My kids define my soul. They are my reason. Who do I want to be proud of me? The same people that want me to be proud of them. Jaiden. Laila. Cameron.
