NOURA: Where Leadership and Self-Understanding Meet
For a long time, leadership development and personal growth have been treated as separate conversations.
One lives in boardrooms and performance metrics.
The other lives in reflection, healing, and inner work.
NOURA exists because that separation never made sense to us.
We’ve both spent years leading teams, building systems, navigating complexity, and holding responsibility while also doing the quieter work of understanding ourselves, unlearning patterns, and redefining what it actually means to lead well.
NOURA is where those two worlds finally speak the same language.
Who We Are

NOURA was founded by Nakia Harlan and Tatyani Guest, two leaders with very different paths that intertwined and a shared realization:
Sustainable leadership doesn’t come from fixing behavior.
It comes from understanding how someone is wired to move through the world.
Between us, our experience spans corporate leadership, organizational development, facilitation, creative strategy, and human-centered work. We’ve led teams, mentored leaders, supported growth during transition, and watched talented people burn out not because they lacked skill, but because they were working against their natural patterns.
NOURA was created to change that.
What NOURA Is
NOURA is a leadership and personal development firm, but not in the traditional sense.
We don’t offer:
- One-size-fits-all leadership models
- Motivational frameworks disconnected from reality
- Personality labels that box people in
Instead, we focus on self-understanding as a leadership skill.
NOURA supports individuals and organizations in:
- Understanding how people naturally process, decide, lead, and recover
- Aligning leadership roles and environments with internal wiring
- Developing leaders who are self-aware, regulated, and sustainable
- Creating cultures where people don’t have to perform against themselves to succeed
This work applies just as much to professional leadership as it does to personal growth, because the same patterns show up everywhere: at work, at home, under pressure, and in moments of change.
The Role of R.E.S.S.™ Inside NOURA
At the core of NOURA is the R.E.S.S.™ (RaeOvSun Energetic Signature System).
R.E.S.S. is not a personality test.
It’s not a type.
And it’s not about “who you should be.”
It’s a framework for understanding:
- How you move through environments
- Where your energy naturally stabilizes or accelerates
- What supports you and what quietly drains you
- How your influence actually lands, not just how it’s intended
R.E.S.S. provides the shared language that makes NOURA’s work possible. It gives structure to conversations that are often felt but rarely articulated about pace, presence, decision-making, regulation, and leadership impact.
Inside NOURA, R.E.S.S. is used to:
- Anchor leadership development in self-awareness
- Support personal growth without pathologizing people
- Help leaders understand why certain strategies work for them and others don’t
- Create alignment between inner wiring and outer expectations
The system breathes through everything we do, but it never replaces human discernment. It’s a map, not a mandate.

How We Work
NOURA is intentionally designed to be flexible and contextual.
Our work may include:
- Individual leadership and personal development journeys
- Cohort-based experiences and facilitated sessions
- Organizational support and advisory work
- Framework-based learning paired with reflection and application
Whether someone comes to NOURA as a leader, a creative, a professional in transition, or someone simply wanting to understand themselves better, the starting point is always the same:
Awareness before optimization.
An Invitation
If you already know us, this is our formal hello and an invitation into the work we’ve been quietly building.
If you’re new here, welcome.
NOURA exists for people who are tired of performing leadership and ready to understand it from the inside out. For those who know that growth doesn’t come from becoming someone else but from finally working with who you already are.
This is the beginning of that conversation.
