Finding Fault

If we don’t learn from our past we are doomed to repeat it. We go in cycles until we figure things out, learn our lessons, and truly grow. I’ve found that I’ve become accustomed to the bottoms dropping out so I begin to look for things to be wrong. If there is a loose thread in the tapestry I’ll begin to pick at it until it begins to unravel. Ha! I knew this would happen! That’s not to say that I am making things appear out of nowhere, there are definitely frays, but maybe they are not as major as I am making them out to be. They are definitely the small things that will in the end become BIG things but they are manageable. They are still at the level of discussion points. Hey, this does not work for me and if it continues over a long period of time YOU will not work for me.

I am definitely exhausted though. After the three week stint of work followed up by the one out of state with family just to have to go in on Monday and reengage is taxing in advance. I’m ready to get back to normalcy but I’m not sure I’ve really been able to take a deep breath and relax. I don’t even know the meaning of the word outside of paper anymore.

I need to recalibrate and incorporate more of what makes me happy, set new goals, accomplish them, and then start again. #motivation
